Root Zone Heating
During my time as a Undergraduate ate student at ASU I designed, built, and operated multiple root zone heating systems in greenhouses around the area. Root zone heating applys heat directly to the plant's roots where they need it most rather than heating the entire greenhouse. This can potentially reduce green house emmissions and energy consumption by 50%.

I have designed multiple solar thermal systems in class and for work during my time at ASU. This particular design was installed at a greenhouse on campus used by the sustainable development department. This system allowed the department to use the greenhouse longer allowing the spring semester classes to start thier seeds in a warm environment with limited energy consumption.

PhotovoltaicsI have used Visio to design multiple PV arrays in class, for work, and on my own. This program is especially helpful when designing a system to size wires and over current protection devices. This schematic was used to redesign the PV array at ASU's sustainable technology research facility.
